Taking Stock in the World
Taking Stock in the World

We all need to “share” responsibility in helping Jews around the world—that’s the idea behind The World Repair Company. For $18, kids can buy a share of stock in The World Repair Company, a charitable organization that pools together the resources of students nationwide. The young shareholders vote on how to disperse the money to Jewish causes worldwide. Founded in 2002, the company has already funded a Pesach Seder for impoverished Argentinean Jews and Purim festivities for Latvian Jews who had never celebrated the holiday before.
