Periodically during the school year, we send out our "In the Classroom" feature via e-mail to educators around the country.
They are available to be printed out and shared with faculty, or for electronic forwarding via email. The entire In the Classroom series can be found at www.behrmanhouse.com/itc.
Among its features are a comparison of our Hebrew programs, eight ways to use our modern Hebrew series Shalom Ivrit in the classroom, techniques for teaching students with special needs, a family Shabbat blessings guide, and five ways to bring Israel alive in the classroom.
Educators tell us that these features have been very effective in curriculum development and especially teacher training. Terri Ginsburg, Director of Education, Temple Beth Emeth in Ann Arbor, MI, said, "I like this idea of sending us teaching tips and special features from your material.
