Six Educators Win Website Feedback Contest

Stephanie Sachs (top) and Melissa Werbow, prize winners Congratulations to the six winners of our Website Feedback Contest, in which educators were invited to suggest new web services, graphic improvement, and anything else they wanted to see added to our website. Hundreds responded, many with practical and clever ideas. Six winners were chosen; each received a limited edition Behrman House lion. Here are the winners and their entries: Stephanie Sachs Congregation Beth Shalom, Corona, CA "Provide a list of related books for particular titles or subjects." Wendy Herschman Congregation B’nai Israel, Baton Rouge, LA "Invite teachers to submit activities they have used successfully for specific Behrman House books." Melissa Werbow Stephen S. Wise Temple, Los Angeles, CA "Create a site where students can find information for their classes, so they can catch up on work they missed." Carol S. Cohn Congregation Bet Chaim, Casselberry, FL "Offer simply-designed, easy-to-make games to reinforce and complement the material covered in our texts." Ruth C. Gross Congregation Beth Israel, Scotch Plains, NJ "Provide a site for students to evaluate texts and materials." Harriet Gefen Congregation Sons of Israel, Woodmere, NY "Include teachers’ successful projects, lesson plans, and ideas related to your curricular materials."
