Every year in April Jeremy Poisson, our e-Media Editor, and hundreds of
other techies head to San Francisco to attend the Software and Information
Industry Association (SIIA) conference. It's the place to learn what's
hot in the field of educational technology. Jeremy comes back from these
events inspired to create activities such as "Masada Climb" and "Hebrew
Slingshot," interactive games such as "The Shell Game" and "Space Quest,"
and animated characters like Gila Gimmelstein and Yippee Yad.
This year Jeremy has been invited to present at the SIIA
technology conference
This year things are a bit different:
Jeremy has been invited to present at
the conference. He’ll sit on a panel
with other software developers to present
the ways in which digital-based
games and simulations are valuable
tools for teaching and testing, and for
professional development. Hats off to
Jeremy; this is a wonderful acknowledgment
of his pioneering work in
educational software.

We thought you’d also like to know that
Jeremy is in the process of developing
a patent-pending 3-D third-person-view
gaming technology that teaches values,
morals, ethics, and even science
through bible stories. Look for the finished
product in your July Golem shipment.
We think you’ll love it!
