A Letter from the Publisher

We are delighted to announce that Ari Y. Goldberg has joined the editorial staff of Behrman House. Ari is a 1988 graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned a B.A. and departmental honors in Hebraic Studies. He also has an M.A. in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary.

From 1990 until earlier this year, Ari worked for United Synagogue Youth, most recently as Assistant Director for Education and Director of the Kadima program. In addition to his departmental duties, he edited a number of books, including Conservative Judaism: Our Ancestors to Our Descendants by Rabbi Elliot Dorff, Visions of Holiness in the Everyday by Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin, and In God's Image by Bernard Novick.

Ari adds to the geographic diversity here at Behrman House: he was born and raised in bucolic Rutland, Vermont. He is married to Stacy, a speech pathologist. Their daughter, Rina, is three years old.

We're delighted to have Ari on board. You'll be seeing him at many of the conferences we attend. You'll see the first book he's done at Behrman House when you receive the Teacher's Edition to Shalom Uvrachah in the Golem Plan this coming February, and many more in the months and years to come.
