Welcoming Shabbat

The sun dips down to touch the hills,
And soon it will be night.
It's time to bring the candles out.
It's time to light the lights.
We strike the match to light them,
And the flames begin to glow.
We honor and we keep Shabbat,
That's what the candles show.
