Lesley Litman is the Executive Director of Hebrew at the Center: Advancing Hebrew Teaching and Learning in Boston.  Lesley has extensive experience as a Jewish educator in congregations, days schools, informal education settings, and as a consultant.  

Most recently Lesley served as the Director of Congregational Learning at Temple Israel in Boston.  Prior to her work at Temple Israel, she served as the Regional Educator for the URJ and the URJ’s specialist in Hebrew and Day School education.  She was the project coordinator for the Haverim B’ivrit series published by the URJ Press as well as one of the two writers of the Torah strand of the URJ CHAI curriculum.  

Lesley holds a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, an MA in Jewish Studies from Hebrew College in Boston, and was a Mandel Jerusalem Fellow in the mid 1990’s.
