 [Lori Justice-Shocket] Lori Justice-Shocket has been a graphic design and visual arts professional for over 20 years. She is currently the Vice President of Conceptual Development at OPI Products Inc. in Los Angeles. Lori studied at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. In addition to her professional life, Lori was the first female paramedic in the United States. She and her husband, an emergency physician, volunteer their medical services around the world.

Lori began the exploration of her Jewish faith when she shared a 1998 b'nai mitzvah with her son and her father, a Holocaust survivor. Her prayer study culminated in the design, translation, and illumination of a full-color prayer book. It was later developed by Behrman House and a distinguished editorial board into the siddur called Mikdash M'at. Lori is also a contributing author to the Behrman House Hineni prayer series. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and her son.
