Ideas, Links & Lessons for Tu B’Shevat
Tu B’Shevat is Wednesday, February 8. Help younger children understand the importance of trees in Judaism. Help older students develop a connection between the biblical holiday and modern concerns about the environment. Help families discover one of the less familiar Jewish holidays--the new year for trees. Multi-media links and ideas.

Inspired Illustrations
About six months ago, we got a surpising request. A local Judaica Gallery wanted all of the artwork from Siddur Mah Tov: A Family Shabbat Prayer Book for an installation called “Inspired Illustrations.” We were so excited, because this artwork was created especially for the siddur by a local educator and visual artist whom we simply adore, Julie Wohl.
