Bard is the Executive Director of the nonprofit American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE), Director of the Jewish Virtual Library, and a leading authority on U.S.-Middle East policy. Dr. Bard is the author of numerous books, articles, and studies, and he has appeared on NBC, MSNBC, Fox News, CBC, al-Jazeera, and other local and national television and radio outlets.

He is also the author of 48 Hours of Kristalnacht, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Middle East Conflict, The Complete Idiot's Guide to World War II, and Myths and Facts, A Guide to Arab-Israeli Conflict.
