Changes at Babaganewz

Written by Behrman House Staff, 03 of December, 2013
Please join us in wishing a fond farewell to Aviva Werner.

After more than three years at Behrman House and ten years with Babaganewz, Aviva is transitioning into freelance writing and editing. In addition to her Babaganewz responsibilities, Aviva also authored Experience Modern Israel, and the Living Jewish Values Series. Expecting her fifth child next spring, Aviva is seeking new ways to combine her commitment to writing while providing flexibility for family time.

"I have such appreciaton for all my friends and colleagues for all they have taught me and for all the good we have accomplished together in Jewish education, " said Aviva. " I look forward to our professional paths continuing to intersect on future projects."

"We've been fortunate to have Aviva's wisdom and talent in the service of Babaganewz, said David Behrman, President and Publisher.  "I have especially appreciated her forthrightness and incisiveness in our work together."

Ann Koffsky here at Behrman House, together with Washington D.C.-based educator Diane Zimmerman will take over many of the Babaganewz editorial duties, including creating new Babaganewz articles and lesson plans,  editing the Babaganewz monthly newsletter, and disseminating Technology Tuesdays. You can subscribe to the Babaganewz newsletter here.
