How can students learn Jewish values from our Holiday traditions?

Jewish holidays are based on the Hebrew calendar, which follows the cycles of the moon and causes holidays to fall on different days every year. Guide students as they grapple with challenging questions about Jewish Holidays and traditions with help from some of our newest educational materials.

Suggested materials include:

How can I experience holy time and space at Shabbat? Why is this important to me? Help students explore questions like these as they discover how the Jewish values we can learn from our holiday stories can guide us in making good decisions every day. Experience a full year of Jewish holidays, reflective journaling, and activities.

Invite children to become proud owners of their heritage with holiday stories presented with the rituals, symbols, traditions, and legends that have grown around it. Students will be captured by lush illustrations and playful activities that engage the imagination.

Help students rediscover the holidays and how they can make personal meaning from ancient traditions to apply to their everyday lives while answering questions like 'What do you think is the most important message of Rosh Hashanah?' and more.

Your young students will join Daniel and his Israeli cousin, Rivkah, as they learn together about the Jewish holidays in an engaging, fantasy adventure. With classic Jewish legends and stories, colorful holiday stickers for their treasure map, and a Certificate of Achievement students will be motivated and feel accomplished on their very on adventure.

These are all resources to help you guide students as they learn about Jewish holidays and how they can connect with their Jewish heritage.
