Written by Behrman House Staff, 05 of August, 2016

Do you make apps? We’re seeking game or mobile app developers interested in creating a NEW digital experience that can help reboot Jewish education.

Perhaps you are Jewish educator with and IDEA for an app. You could go to a month-long workshop in Israel to bring it to life with help from professional EdTech designers and developers.

Behrman House and MindCET, the innovation EdTech Center of Israel – based Center for Educational Technology, are seeking North American teams or individuals with either game or mobile app development abilities, OR with a great idea to mentor in a pilot accelerator program funded by a grant from the AVI CHAI Foundation.

The program will include working with experts on the pedagogical, testing and developmental process, as well as contact with other local EdTech startup teams, (including a special program for teams of educators-entrepreneurs) in Israel for a month, hosted by MindCET; workshops and mentoring hosted by Behrman House to focus on the Jewish educational market; and access to professional design, coding, art and other tech development talent.

Interested? What should you do?

Check out the application here.

Get started now! Applications are due by September 9

The chosen team will work with Behrman House and MindCET for six months, beginning in September 2016, will head to Israel in December (exact dates to be announced).
