An Educator's Guide to Using The Gateways Haggadah

Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM)may be coming to an end, but with help from Gateways: Access to Jewish Education, we can continue our inclusive mindset through the year.

Last year we introduced The Gateways Haggadah: A Seder for the Whole Family, which offers something truly amazing - a place for all at the Passover table.

The Gateways Haggadah helps families with children of all abilities and disabilities participate fully in the seder with step-by-step directions for every element of the Passover seder. This concise Haggadah is respectful to all participants, whatever their abilities, to ensure that all can take part meaningfully in a complete Passover seder

"I want to stuff some matzo in my face," by Gateways: Access to Jewish Education.

Prayer meaning is highlighted by more than 70 vibrant photographs depicting children of many abilities and disabilities participating in the seder, and transliteration conveyed by 150 picture communication symbols developed in conjunction with Mayer-Johnson
