It's Music and More. Songleader Boot Camp is Coming, February 16-18, 2014

It's much more than music.

Join approximately 200 Jewish educators, clergy, lay leaders, teens, and songleaders from all over North America and Israel for 3 days of immersive, collaborative learning and transformation at the 2014 Songleader Boot Camp (SLBC) National  Conference, February 16-18, 2014.

NOT just for song leaders and you don’t need to be a musician! Music is just one vehicle for connection and inspiration that is explored at SLBC.

Songleader Boot Camp provides intensive leadership training programs for Jewish educators, religious school teachers, clergy, veteran and new songleaders, teen leaders, lay leaders, and Jewish camping staff, offering a profound exploration of the physiology, psychology, strategy, and execution behind explosive Jewish teaching and songleading. The very top Jewish educators and music artists in North America lead SLBC’s innovative and transformative conferences and training programs.

Among the featured faculty at SLBC national conference are: Rabbi Sharon Brous (IKAR in Los Angeles), Rabbi Micah Greenstein (Temple Israel, Memphis), Billy Jonas (Jewish Educator and musician, Ashville, NC), Shira Kline (Jewish Educator and musician, New York, NY), and organizer and creative lead Rick Recht (Jewish Educator and musician, St. Louis, MO).

In addition, this year, SLBC will feature a brand-new Jewish Educators Track. And our ownTerry Kaye will host an informal conversation with participants about how educators can integrate music into ALL educational experiences.
