We Need YOUR Help to Improve Our Site

Last summer we brought Hineni to life in the Online Learning Center. To ensure students are getting the most out of their Hebrew practice, we have put together a couple tips for success.

Recently it has come to our attention that there have been some setbacks with the recording feature in Hineni OLC Edition. For example, Google Chrome recently updated its browser to fix a security flaw in its program. But that update affected Chrome's ability to access the microphones on user's computers. Our developers quickly addressed the issue and have made adjustments to Hineni OLC Edition so that it continues to work as intended in Chrome.

One of the highlights of the Hineni OLC Edition is the ability for students to record their work.

Follow these three suggestions to successfully record Hebrew reading on laptops and home computers:

  1. Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as your Internet browser. Hineni OLC Edition works best with these applications.
  2. Make sure you allow connection to your microphone when prompted.
  3. Make sure you are using a device that has access to a microphone.

Hineni OLC Edition is compatible with phones and tablets, however, the recording feature for those devices is currently in production and will be available as an app in mid-February.
