Color Your Way to Calmness

As we await the release of the Jewish adult coloring book Shalom Coloring, artist and author Freddie Levin helps us brush up on coloring skills.

In this short video, Freddie Levin shows us how the color wheel can help us understand the ways that colors are related, and how to use that knowledge to plan and execute a beautiful coloring project. She'll even show you how it works using an actual project from the book.

About Artist Freddie Levin

One of Freddie Levin's earliest memories is sitting at her grandmother's kitchen table coloring with her bright and chunky crayons. Since then, she has graduated to more intricate tools, and  her artwork has illustrated numerous picture books, greeting cards, and products. She is the author/illustrator of two award winning book series about drawing, 1 2 3 Draw and Draw Plus Math and Science. When not drawing and painting, she enjoys gardens, birds, yoga, Chopin and pretty much any kind of pie.
