It’s an important time, for Behrman House, for the URJ, and for the educational community. On Monday, June 15th, we completed the transfer of 222 URJ Press titles to Behrman House.
Last week we announced the official closing of our agreement with the URJ giving us the right to publish and sell 222 URJ Press titles. We have already been receiving and shipping out our first orders!
The transferred titles include the Mitkadem series, the entire Parashat Hashavuah series, the majority of the titles in the Chai curriculum, plus many other titles. A full list of the titles you can now acquire from Behrman House is here. These titles can be purchased through Behrman House by phone, fax, or on our website.
We continue to work with the URJ to get clear permission on the remaining URJ Press titles and we will continue to update our cleared list daily.
Did you place an order with the URJ on or after June 1st? Your order has been transferred to Behrman House and will be completed and shipped out before June 30th for those materials that we have permission to sell.
The final shipment of URJ Press titles have arrived from the distribution facility and we are busy adding them to our inventory system, making more and more stock available to ship. In addition, before the closing URJ Press also ordered reprints of materials for which stocks were running low and those titles are due in soon. If you order something for which we do not yet have in stock, we can back order that title and it will ship automatically as soon as we have it on hand. You will not be charged for it until it ships. We continue our commitment to 24 hour shipment of in-stock items.
