Kiddush for Shabbat
(Blessing over the Wine)

Hold the wine cup in your right hand as you recite the blessings:

Barukh atah, Adonai Eloheinu,

melekh ha-olam,

borei pri ha-gafen.

 [blessing in hebrew]
Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the world, who creates the fruit of the vine.

For those who are more fluent in Hebrew, there is a longer version of Kiddush:

 [blessing in hebrew]

Barukh atah, Adonai Eloheinu, melekh ha-olam, borei pri ha-gafen.
Baruka atah, Adonai Eloheinu, melekh ha-olam, asher kidshanu
bemitzvotav veratzah vanu, v'shabbat kodsho be'ahavah uveratzon
hinhilanu, zikaron lema'aseh vereishit. Ki hu yom tehilah
lemikra'ei kodesh, zekher litziyat Mitzrayim. Ki vanu vaharta
ve'otanu kidashta mikol ha-amim, v'shabbat kod'shekha Be'ahava
uveratzon hinhaltanu. Barukh atah Adonai, mekadesh ha-shabbat.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the world, who creates the fruit of the vine.

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the world, who makes us holy with commandments and takes delight in us. In God's love and favor God has made the holy Sabbath our heritage, as a memory of the work of creation.

It is the first among holy days, a memory of the going out from Egypt. You chose us from all the nations and You made us holy, and in love and favor You have given us the Sabbath as a sacred inheritance. Praised are You, Adonai, who makes the Sabbath holy.
