Dena Neusner Named Executive Editor at Behrman House

Please join us in welcoming Ann Koffsky, author and illustrator with over 30 books in publication, who has joined Behrman House as Editor.

Ann's book Noah's Swim-A-Thon was a PJLibrary selection, and My Cousin Tamar Lives in Israel was named a notable book by the Association of Jewish Libraries. In addition, her upcoming book, Frogs in the Bed: My Passover Seder and Activity Book will be published early next year by Behrman House.

Ann's artwork has been featured on more than 100 greeting cards, toys, ketubot, and other products. Her work has appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Washington Post, Jewish Action Magazine, and other publications.

"I am thrilled to welcome Ann as the newest member of our Creative Team," said Dena Neusner, Executive Editor. "She brings with her a dedication to Jewish community and education, a natural instinct for editing, and a passion for writing and illustrating books for children. Her bright, cheerful energy makes her just a pleasure to work with."

A graduate of Yeshiva University, Ann was a publicist at Ruth S. Frank Public Relations, has served as an adjunct professor at YU's Stern College for Women, and is a frequent speaker at venues nationwide about the process of making books. She lives in West Hempstead, NY with her husband and three children.

Ann will be working part-time through the end of the year as she finishes up some other commitments, and will join the staff full-time beginning in January. She can be reached through our regular number, and via email using Ann at behrmanhouse.com.
