Jokes at another's expense are harmful and hurtful - regardless of a cyberbully's excuses - and are never okay.

A 2013 study found that about 2.2 million students were bullied via technology in 2011 and 88% of teens who use social media platforms have witnessed mean behavior online

The Torah tells us that all people are created in the image of God. We are instructed to love our neighbors as ourselves, and treat all of humanity with compassion. How can we help put an end to cyberbullying?

In the new Hot Topics: Cyberbullying resource, students will be able to:

  • Consider how it feels to be bullied.
  • Recognize that cruel words cannot be taken back.
  • Know what to do and what not to do if they witness cyberbullying.
