Jaime Lewis created the Minyan Katan High Holiday Helper service, from which Machzor Katan is adapted, and wrote the original songs for the program. She is a pre-school music teacher and performer.  She is also the sole owner of KidsCan Music LLC, which works with many synagogues and Israeli daycare centers to create Jewish music and holiday programs as well as creating secular music programs for other institutions.  Jaime grew up in Newton, Massachusetts where she received a Jewish day school education.  She is actively involved in many aspects of her current synagogue community.  Jaime has studied and played the piano since childhood and has been writing children's songs since the birth of her first child six years ago.  A lawyer by training, Jaime holds a J.D., LL.M. and Masters degree.  She lives with her husband and two children in New York City.
  Michelle V. Katz specializes in performance management and career development, working with major financial institutions to support and develop their high performing employees.  Prior to earning her Masters in Organizational Psychology, Michelle worked in public relations with nationally recognized brands such as Advil and Bausch & Lomb.  As a graduate of The Jewish Theological Seminary—and having married a cantor—Michelle is deeply involved in Jewish communal life.  She lives with her husband and two children in New York City.
